Agentic Ad-Ops Audit Trail

If autonomous agents start changing live ad campaigns, what does the accountability layer look like?

A concept-demo dashboard showing what a unified audit trail for AI-agent-driven ad campaign changes could look like — timeline of changes across platforms, before/after diffs, mock rollback flow — seeded with synthetic data, not a live integration.

Problem statement

As AI agents start making direct write-actions on ad campaigns (budget, targeting, creative swaps) across Meta/Google/TikTok, there's no unified way to see what an agent changed, why, and whether it can be rolled back. This is the exact "governance problem (auth scope, idempotency, rollback, audit)" already flagged as the real frontier in my notes — nobody's shipped it.

ICP (who exactly has this problem)

Ad ops leads and marketing leaders adopting agentic campaign management tools who currently have zero visibility into agent-driven changes across platforms.

Market and TAM

Not sized — concept demo/thought-leadership artifact, feeds the existing AdCP weekly content series rather than standing alone.

Alternatives (how people solve this today)

Nothing unified exists; each ad platform has its own native change log at best, no cross-platform view, no agent-attribution, no rollback UX.

GTM angle

Natural fit for the already-planned AdCP weekly LinkedIn series — a concrete visual artifact for "here's what agentic governance should look like" rather than just discussing the protocol landscape abstractly.

How it works

Single-file dashboard, 19 synthetic agent-change events across 4 platforms, each with a stated agent name + rationale (not just what changed, why). Expandable before/after diffs, filter bar, mock rollback confirmation flow explicitly labeled as UI mockup (no live mutation), footer disclosure that it's a concept prototype.

Riskiest assumption

That a mocked/synthetic demo is compelling enough to make the governance-gap point, versus needing a real (even limited) MCP-based integration to be credible — untested with a real audience yet.

Open questions

Worth building a real v2 against one actual ad platform's API (even read-only) to make this a genuine artifact rather than pure mockup?
